Job Description As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Team in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional, you will monitor and patrol designated healthcare locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to staff and visitors. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to individuals at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in maintaining order within the healthcare environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, helping to maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and other Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs as they arise. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or equivalent is required as per client requirements. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
