As a Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol unarmed throughout a healthcare environment, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random security-related patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location, reporting any suspicious activity or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Support healthcare staff and visitors by offering guidance and assistance as needed, while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. Document observations and incidents according to site protocols, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to support a secure environment for all individuals present. Minimum Requirements: At least one year of security-related experience is required. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. A guard card or license is preferred. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
