As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and building teams, provide clear communication, and respond to concerns with professionalism and care. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial property location. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity. Monitor access points and authorized entry procedures, verify credentials as required, and direct visitors and contractors according to site guidelines. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, alarms, and maintenance-related concerns, and notify appropriate personnel. Complete detailed reports and logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover to support continuous site operations. Minimum Requirements: Possess a New York State Security Guard License. Be 21+ years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
