As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors while delivering standout customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility disturbances, trespass concerns, and alarm activations. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, parking areas, corridors, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Monitor access points and visitor flow, assist with wayfinding as needed, and help to report suspicious activity and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel. Complete security-related documentation such as incident reports, patrol logs, and shift handoffs, and communicate observations to onsite leadership and/or emergency responders. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
