As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate multifamily location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and provide customer-focused communication with residents, guests, and staff. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, guests, and property staff by carrying out access control, security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating updates to property management and/or Allied Universal supervision. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, corridors, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns. Monitor building entry points and amenities for policy compliance, assist with visitor management, and help direct authorized persons to appropriate areas while maintaining a professional presence. Complete required reports such as incident reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoff notes, and notify appropriate contacts regarding hazards, suspicious activity, and/or needed follow-up. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
