Job Description As a Security Officer - Cultural Patrol in New York, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a renowned cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol the location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will provide exceptional customer service, assist visitors, and communicate clearly with guests and staff. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and monitor for any irregularities. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols within the cultural institution environment. Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering the premises as needed. Support the orderly flow of visitors and/or guests, providing directions and information as required. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and location staff to address security-related concerns or emergencies. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
