Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Marina Patrol in Colgate Center, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas in a professional corporate location, completing routine rounds, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and documenting observations. You will respond to requests, assist employees and visitors with directions and questions, and communicate clearly with site contacts and your team. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate internal personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including office areas, lobbies, stairwells, and perimeter points, documenting observations and reporting concerns. Monitor cameras, building systems, and/or other security-related equipment when assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations through the proper channels. Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and on time, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
