## About the Role Allied Universal®, North America's leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer - Cleared (Clearance Required - Unarmed) for a full-time position paying $22.99 hourly. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll be entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. You'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field. ## What You'll Do Your core responsibilities will include providing high quality security services while safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism. You'll conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information. Greeting guests and employees is part of your daily work—you'll escort visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points, following all established protocols. You'll be responsible for following site-specific performance manuals and post orders, reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel. When security or emergency alarms are triggered, you'll respond quickly and assess the situation appropriately. In emergency situations, you'll act as a first responder, ready to handle crisis situations with competence and composure. ## What We're Looking For You must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience to qualify. A critical requirement is that you must possess a Department of Defense (Do. D) position appropriate level security clearance. National security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment. One or more of the following is essential: - Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site - Prior military experience Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. You'll need effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills, along with exceptional customer service abilities. Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client-specific sites are necessary. ## Nice to Have While not required, prior law enforcement or armed security experience would be valuable.
