Job Description As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Specialist in Chicago, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for financial institution locations. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents encountered during patrols. Assist with access control and monitor entry and exit points in accordance with location procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or law enforcement as required. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. Minimum Requirements: Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
