As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols throughout a residential location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing a reassuring presence. This role requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling by vehicle and/or on foot. You will deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating teamwork, agility, and integrity in every interaction. What You'll Do: • Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. • Monitor for and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting residents and coordinating with emergency services when appropriate. • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all incidents, observations, and activities during shifts. • Remain alert and aware of surroundings while carrying out patrol duties and/or monitoring access points. • Carry a firearm in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws, using sound judgment and professionalism at all times. Minimum Requirements: • Armed Guard Card or License required. • Must be at least 21 years of age. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
