As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do: Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the utility location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities. Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter unauthorized access and address any unusual activity. Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or irregularities observed during patrols. Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to address security-related concerns. Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or incidents as required by post orders and client needs. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
