As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will conduct regular patrols and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, supporting a secure environment for clients and visitors. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism. Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activities, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel. Interact with employees, visitors, and/or members of the public in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance as needed. Maintain awareness of the unique needs and operational requirements of financial institution locations while performing assigned duties. Carry and responsibly handle authorized firearms in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Minimum Requirements: An Armed Guard Card or License is required. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
