What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional presence at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the educational facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns. Monitor access points and assist with controlling entry and exit to the location, in accordance with established protocols. Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines. Collaborate with school staff and local authorities as needed to support a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Remain alert to unusual activities or situations, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel or authorities. Participate in ongoing training and maintain required certifications for armed security-related duties. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 5 years of security-related experience. Have an armed guard card or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
