Job Description As a Security Officer - Access Control - Weekdays in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry only to authorized individuals. Provide customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries related to access control and security-related procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols. Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or unusual activity observed during patrols or while monitoring access points. Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to uphold site-specific policies and procedures. Support emergency response activities as needed, following established guidelines for the location within the food and beverage environment. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
