As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and support a secure environment within a commercial real estate location. You will monitor entrances, manage badge access, and interact with visitors and tenants, providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the commercial real estate location to help maintain authorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details as required. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols. Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide guidance on security-related matters. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established procedures. Minimum Requirements: Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
