As a Security Officer, you will manage entry and exit points, verify credentials, monitor activity in assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and document security-related incidents. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by verifying identification, monitoring badge use, managing visitor check-in and/or check-out, and directing drivers, employees, and contractors to appropriate areas. Monitor inbound and outbound activity for irregularities, including trailers, packages, and equipment movement, and document observations in daily activity reports and incident logs per site requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to site contacts and/or public responders as directed by post orders. Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, yards, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help identify unauthorized access, unsecured doors, and/or unusual conditions, with working environments and conditions varying by location. Minimum Requirements: Have 2+ years of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
