Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Officer in Atlantic City, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and assist guests and store teams with clear communication and service. You will use a computer and/or tablet for reporting and updates. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to retail location associates and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, stock areas, and exterior perimeter to help to deter theft, trespassing, and other unwanted activity. Monitor entrances, exits, and sales floor activity, reporting suspicious behavior and/or policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical situations, and/or fire alarms, and assist with evacuations when directed. Complete incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff. Minimum Requirements: CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
