Job Description As a Security Guard - Unarmed Commercial Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff, providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, observing for irregularities and reporting any suspicious activity. Assist in helping to deter unauthorized activity or access to the premises through visible presence and thorough patrolling. Complete documentation and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site management. Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff at the commercial real estate location to address questions and provide assistance. Follow all instructions and directives from Allied Universal management and site leadership while adapting to varying working environments as required by the location. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Be at least 21 years of age. Handcuffing certification is preferred. Pepper spray certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
