Job Description As a Security Guard - Manufacturing Patrol Weekdays FT in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible on-site, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while on duty. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards during patrols. Communicate clearly with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and/or emergency responders as needed. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points within the location. Support emergency response activities according to site-specific procedures. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
