As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct routine patrols at a critical utilities location, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. You will interact with staff and visitors, delivering exceptional customer service while responding to incidents as needed. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as required. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements. Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency response personnel as needed during incidents or emergency situations. Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies, alarms, or requests for assistance within the utilities location. Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
