About the Role: The Medical Receptionist 1 serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors within a healthcare setting, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role is critical in managing patient flow by efficiently scheduling appointments, verifying patient information, and handling inquiries both in person and via telephone. The Medical Receptionist 1 is responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and coordinating communication between patients, healthcare providers, and administrative staff. By managing front desk operations with attention to detail and empathy, this position supports the overall efficiency and quality of patient care services. Ultimately, the Medical Receptionist 1 contributes to a positive patient experience and smooth clinical operations through effective administrative support and interpersonal communication. Minimum Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment preferred but not required. • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. • Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
