Job Summary: The Payroll Analyst is responsible for processing and managing the company's payroll functions, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for employees. This role involves reviewing payroll data, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and resolving payroll discrepancies. This position will be a key resource for partnering with the payroll vendor, OneSource Virtual for the Allegion business as well as supporting audits, acquisitions, and special projects. The Payroll Analyst collaborates with HR, finance, and other departments to support payroll operations and provide excellent service to employees. What You Will Do: Process bi-weekly and weekly payrolls accurately and on time. Direct responsibility for payroll deduction processing including taxes, benefit deductions, garnishments, union dues. Work extensively in Kronos: pull time files, review and correct timecards, and resolve timekeeping discrepancies. Review weekly audit reports from the payroll vendor and internal payroll system, identifying discrepancies, trends, and areas requiring corrective action. Respond to payroll-related emails and communications from employees, managers, HR, finance, and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Partner effectively with HR, IT, Finance and other functions to ensure appropriate flow of data and reporting. Serve as an exemplary service‑delivery liaison for the payroll department, responding to internal and external inquiries with professionalism and a customer‑focused approach. Develop and implement processes to ensure accurate collection, calculation, and entering of data. Provide necessary support to implementation of acquisitions and divestitures as needed. Partnering with internal and external auditors to ensure satisfaction of requirements. Maintain payroll guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures. What You Need to Succeed: 5 years of previous payroll experience with a basic knowledge of payroll concepts Perform other duties as assigned by management to support payroll and HR Operations (i.e. Benefits) Bachelors Degree or equivalent years of experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate solutions across all levels Effective listening and the ability to drive service with empathy Experience working with Kronos or Workday is a plus (will consider other system experience) Advanced Excel experience is required Why Work for Us? Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience. The expected Total Compensation Range: $68,000 to $84,000.
