Water Management & Legionella Compliance Specialist Healthcare / Skilled Nursing Facilities Overview We are seeking an experienced Water Management & Legionella Compliance Specialist to manage water safety and Legionella prevention programs across our healthcare facilities. This role is critical to ensuring safe, compliant, and well-managed water systems. Responsibilities • Implement and manage Legionella prevention and water management programs • Monitor and document potable water systems, testing, and corrective actions • Coordinate with water treatment vendors and laboratories • Prepare facilities for health department and CMS surveys • Train staff on water safety and compliance best practices • Respond to water-related incidents and oversee remediation efforts Qualifications • Strong understanding of Legionella, water systems, and water treatment • Experience with CDC, CMS, ASHRAE 188, and state regulations • Healthcare, skilled nursing, or hospital experience preferred • Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across multiple sites
