Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and residential cleaning, custodial tasks, and facilities maintenance. This role is essential in ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors alike. Duties • Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal • Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and stripping to maintain high standards of cleanliness • Clean and disinfect restrooms, kitchens, and common areas regularly • Use specialized equipment for industrial cleaning and maintenance tasks • Assist with custodial responsibilities related to facilities maintenance and repairs • Perform residential painting or minor repair work as needed to support facility upkeep • Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are well-maintained and stored properly • Follow safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents or injuries Requirements • Proven experience in janitorial work, custodial services, or related fields such as commercial or industrial cleaning • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and stripping • Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently • Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning tasks • Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods • Experience with facilities maintenance or porter duties is a plus • Reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team • Commitment to maintaining a safe environment by adhering to safety guidelines and protocols Pay: $20.00 - $23.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: • Paid time off Work Location: In person
