Full Description

• Clearance required to start: TS/SCI w/FS poly (with NSA)* We are seeking an Application Engineer to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying computer application software or specialized utility programs. Responsibilities: • Work with project manager or product owner to meet specification needs • Recommend software upgrades to optimize operational efficiency • Collaborate with other developers to design and optimize code • Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manage their implementation. • Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and Computer-Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. • Estimates software development costs and schedule. • Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time and improving current techniques. • Formulate and define specifications for software applications or modify and maintain existing applications using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer. • Responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation. • Instruct, direct, and check the work of other task personnel. • Responsible for quality assurance review and the evaluation of existing and new software products. Required Qualifications: • Strong background in analytics development • Python • Experience and expertise with System Authorization • Risk Management Framework (RMF) • Vulnerability Management and/or Nessus Vulnerability Scanner Preferred Qualifications: • Patch management and IAVA tracking • PIG • Pyspark • Scala • AWS Lambda functions • Experience working in Agile environment Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED + 12 years minimum experience OR Associates degree in a technical field + 10 years minimum experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a technical field + 8 years minimum experience OR Master’s degree in a technical field + 6 years minimum experience OR Doctorate’s degree in a technical field + 4 years minimum experience Company DescriptionAll Capital Solutions is an emerging small business committed to providing trusted IT Engineering Services & Solutions to the DoW (formerly DoD) IC community.
