Manage CPQ migrations, validate pricing and billing workflows, and partner with sales and finance to ensure revenue integrity.
2-6 years in billing or finance operations with hands-on experience in quote-to-cash workflows, pricing model configuration, and CRM/CPQ systems.
Who you are • You’ve operated in CPQ / RevOps / Sales Ops environments and understand how deals move from opportunity to revenue. • You’re calm with messy CRM data and ambiguous inputs (custom fields, inconsistent quoting logic, legacy pricing rules). • You communicate clearly with Sales and Finance stakeholders and can explain pricing or configuration discrepancies without drama. • You’re systems-minded: you naturally think in workflows, approval logic, dependencies, validation rules, and downstream billing impact. • You’re a leverage-seeker: you turn recurring deal patterns into templates, pricing guardrails, approval flows, and automation.You’ve operated in billing + accounts receivable environments and you understand how cash actually moves What the job involves • Help customers migrate from their current CPQ / quoting workflows into Alguna without breaking revenue or forecasting integrity. • Translate real-world pricing models (flat, tiered, usage-based, ramps, discounts, credits) into structured system configuration. • Own “cutover readiness”: quote validation, pricing logic alignment, approval flows, and contract consistency before go-live. • Validate outcomes: quote accuracy, downstream billing integrity, reporting reliability, and revenue guardrails. • Partner with customer Sales and Finance teams to resolve complex deal structures fast (non-standard pricing, multi-year ramps, amendments). • Create repeatable playbooks and configuration standards so each migration gets faster, cleaner, and more reliable. Requirements (past experience) • 2–6 years in Billing Ops / AR / Collections / Finance Ops (B2B preferred) • Hands-on experience with: • Opportunity → quote → contract workflows • Pricing model configuration (tiered, usage, volume, hybrid) • Discount governance and approval workflows • Quote validation and revenue leakage prevention • Strong spreadsheet skills (Excel/Google Sheets); comfortable modeling pricing scenarios and validating revenue impact • Experience working with CRM or CPQ systems (any of: Salesforce, HubSpot, Salesforce CPQ, DealHub, Chargebee, Zuora, Stripe, NetSuite) Nice to have • SaaS subscription or usage-based billing exposure • Experience supporting CPQ or system migrations • Experience defining pricing governance or deal desk policies • Comfort writing lightweight automation (workflow builders, scripts, SQL) or using AI tools to accelerate RevOps work • If you have experience with CPQ migrations, include one sentence explaining the hardest part.
