Alfred Street Baptist Church | Alexandria, VA Alfred Street Baptist Church (ASBC), a thriving faith-based institution with a rich history and vibrant ministry, is seeking a dynamic and creative Integrated Communications Marketing Manager to support our Communications Team as we serve a growing congregation of 12,000 members. This role will be the driving force behind our digital presence and storytelling strategy. This is a full-time, hybrid position. Office hours :TuesdayFriday, 9:00 a.m.7:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours are required to support services and special events. What You'll Do The Integrated Marketing Communications Manager, is a highly visible role where you'll lead our voice across all digital platforms while advancing our mission and strengthening our brand identity. You'll develop and execute comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies, create compelling content ranging from social media posts to long-form video, and manage our digital ecosystem across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X (Twitter), and emerging platforms. You'll also dive deep into analytics, tracking performance metrics and translating data into actionable strategies. Working closely with leadership, you'll manage executive social media accounts, engage with our online community, conduct outreach to media and community partners, and support crisis communications when needed. From concept to execution, you'll own projects that make a real impact. What We're Looking For: Education & Experience • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or related field • 810 years of progressive, hands-on experience in integrated digital marketing and communications with measurable results • Portfolio demonstrating successful content creation, campaigns, and tangible outcomes • Equivalent professional experience demonstrating mastery of required competencies will be considered. Required Skills & Competencies: • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing, social media strategy, SEO, and content marketing • Exceptional storytelling and brand communication abilities • Expert-level writing, editing, and proofreading skills • Strong analytical capabilities with experience translating data into strategy • Proficiency with email marketing platforms (MailChimp, Constant Contact) and social media management tools • Experience with design and video tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Premiere Pro, or similar) • Understanding of paid social media advertising and campaign management • Basic knowledge of AI-assisted content creation tools and their ethical use • Cultural competency and ability to communicate across diverse audiences • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with meticulous attention to detail The Ideal Candidate You're a creative, analytical, and spiritually grounded marketing professional who thrives in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
