You'll combine your music technology skills in a software environment to efficiently process repertoire from many sources.You are a continuous learner with a hunger for knowledge. You approach challenges as opportunities to improve. You value team members’ input from all levels and you actively seek ways to support your colleagues.You will sit directly with the Repertoire Development Team, work in close collaboration with Editorial, Marketing, Production and report to the Manager, Production.Core FunctionsEngrave and update sheet music for digital display.Edit 2-track audio to meet Alfred production standards for MakeMusic Cloud.Create MIDI files to inform MakeMusic Cloud’s interactive features.Perform visual and auditory testing on MakeMusic Cloud Repertoire.Coordinate development efforts with coworkers and external colleagues.Define and resolve problems in both internal and customer-facing software.Discuss and document department best practices.Use project management software to track progress and plan future projects.Assist in creating new educational content for use in MakeMusic Cloud.Develop scripting skills to automate repeated tasks.RequirementsRequired Qualifications:Extensive musical background with an emphasis in music technology or education.Experience using Finale and MakeMusic Cloud.Working knowledge of Digital Audio Workstation software.Basic audio editing skills.Aptitude for written and verbal communication.Ability to follow project timelines and maintain scope.Ability to manage several projects concurrently.Degrees are not required and we value all forms of continued education including traditional four-year degrees, post-graduate degrees, associates degrees, bootcamps, online training, professional certifications, self-teaching and more.Desired QualificationsPiano keyboard proficiencyMusic engraving experienceChoral experienceStrong understanding of MIDI and synthesized audio conceptsFamiliarity with tempo-mapping methods in DAW softwareKnowledge of software development methodologiesAbility to thrive in an independent, fast-paced work environmentDon’t meet every single requirement? The hourly compensation range for this role in Colorado is $22.20 - $36.99.
