OVERVIEW Propel, an Alera Group company is looking for a (Senior) Account Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES Serves as the primary client service contact for multiple accounts and is considered a highly experienced (Senior) Account Manager: • Performs account management duties with increasing independence, including managing the renewal processes within an assigned book of business typically generating revenue of $600k+ based on specialty • Maintains established relationships with multiple insurance carriers/brokers to negotiate and obtain quotes • Works directly with insureds, producers and vendors to facilitate renewals, new business opportunities and to resolve issues • Advises insureds on additional product opportunities • Trains and mentors account staff as opportunities arise • Promptly resolves accounting deficiencies • Proficient in contract review QUALIFICATIONS • At least 3 years as an Account Manager and is able to handle the most complex accounts • Has established carrier relationships • Demonstrates technical aptitude • In-depth understanding of a wide variety of coverages • Working toward proficiency in Senior Individual Contributor competencies * ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This role may be performed remotely.
