Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in our industrial chemical cleaning services in the West Texas/Eastern New Mexico area. This role requires a proven track record of driving sales, building long-term client relationships, and strategically positioning services to meet the unique challenges of midstream operations. The Business Development Manager will focus on expanding market share by identifying opportunities, presenting tailored solutions, and partnering with operations to deliver safe, compliant, and cost-effective chemical cleaning services that support client goals. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with oil and gas operators, midstream companies, and service contractors. • Develop and execute a regional sales strategy aligned with company growth targets. • Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, presenting proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. • Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key decision-makers (EHS, operations, procurement, plant managers, and executive leadership). Duties/Responsibilities: Market Strategy & Growth • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform service offerings. • Provide market intelligence and contribute to annual sales forecasts and budget planning. • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Client Partnership & Account Management • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention. • Partner with operations and technical teams to develop tailored chemical cleaning solutions (e.g., turnarounds, maintenance projects, pipeline cleaning, refinery shutdowns). • Ensure all proposals and deliverables meet regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Collaboration & Leadership • Work closely with operations, HSE, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution. • Develop presentations and proposals that highlight value-added services. • Contribute to internal sales reporting, CRM updates, and pipeline management. Required Skills/Abilities: • Strong knowledge of industrial chemical cleaning processes and applications (e.g., hydroblasting, fin fan cleaning, decontamination, pipeline cleaning, and refinery/plant turnaround services). • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets in a competitive market. • Established industry network with proven access to decision-makers. • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. • Ability to travel regionally/nationally as required. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Relationship management and networking • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong supervisory and leadership skills. • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. • Safety-first and compliance-focused approach Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field (preferred). • 5–10 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the oil and gas services sector. • Must reside in the West Texas area.
