Compensation Range: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 Plus Incentive Bonus based on Performance Location: This role may reside in California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Nebraska, New York, or Texas Alamo Drafthouse is seeking a Senior Director, Technology Program Management to drive cross-functional technology initiatives that transform how we serve guests and teammates across our venues and digital platforms. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the Senior Director will oversee delivery of enterprise-scale projects that span multiple teams and stakeholders, from modernization of our restaurant and cinema operations to strategic integrations with Sony Pictures Entertainment. This role combines program leadership, communication excellence, and a strong understanding of hospitality technology systems to ensure that Alamo’s technology initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and with excellence. As the Senior Director, you’ll lead a small but mighty portfolio team that includes project management and product ownership functions. You’ll provide hands-on leadership to drive alignment between technology, operations, marketing, and finance, ensuring every project meets the dual goals of operational efficiency and an awesome guest experience. Direct and mentor the Project Management Office (PMO) and Product Owner(s), ensuring clear priorities, milestone tracking, and stakeholder communication. Act as primary liaison between Technology and other departments (Operations, Marketing, Finance) to define scope, resources, and readiness for each initiative. Champion project governance practices that emphasize clarity, accountability, and risk management without unnecessary bureaucracy. Partner with Sony Pictures and external vendors to coordinate timelines, compliance needs, and inter-company integrations. Translate business objectives into actionable technology plans, aligning project outcomes with Alamo’s strategic pillars (PCI compliance, modernization, security, and guest experience). Communicate project progress, risks, and wins through concise executive updates, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and engaged. Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes, leveraging retrospectives and lessons learned to enhance velocity and predictability. QUALIFICATIONS 10–15 years of experience in technology leadership within hospitality, retail, or multi-unit restaurant environments. Proven success leading enterprise-scale technology implementations (POS, ERP, or digital transformation initiatives). Strong communicator who builds trust across disciplines and executive levels. Skilled in vendor management, contract negotiation, and budget oversight. Deep understanding of restaurant systems, point-of-sale architecture, payment integrations, and data reporting frameworks. Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on project execution. Passion for film, food, and creating remarkable guest experiences.
