Summary: The Department of Teacher Education and Leadership in the College of Education, Humanities, and Behavior Sciences at Alabama A & M University seeks one (1) adjunct faculty members to teach doctoral courses in the program for the math education. The PHD program courses are offered synchronous and asynchronous delivery platforms. Interested candidates should submit credentials for evaluation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Teach up to 6 semester hours of graduate courses per semester • Design courses for online delivery • Evaluate students' performance in all courses taught Minimum Position Requirements (including certifications, licenses, etc.): • A terminal degree in Math Education or Curriculum and Instruction with cognate or a terminal degree in math education. • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of teaching experience at the college level, preferably in the graduate school or college of professional studies. • Evidence of scholarship in the form of research articles, books, etc. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Knowledge of graduate level content in the specializations mentioned above • Ability to interpret research data • Knowledge of the use of Analytics • Ability to use Blackboard Collaborate Ultra instructional delivery platform • Ability to deliver instructions online in the synchronous, asynchronous or hybrid modalities
