Full Description

This is a remote position. Onsite/ Hybrid/ Remote: Remote Duration:5- 6 Months to start with Rate Range: Upto $80/hr W2 or $88/hr C2C Work Authorization: GC, USC, H1B All valid EADs except OPT, CPT 2 Roles-: • Full stack - Backend heavy with Databricks (contract through November 2026): Build and enhance election analytics and data-driven applications used by editorial and business teams. • Full stack - backend heavy (contract through December 2026): Modernize and harden a multi-tenant SaaS platform running on AWS, including enhancements to scalability, reliability, security, and platform architecture. Must Have: • React • TypeScript • Python • Node.js • AWS • REST APIs • GraphQL • Microservices • Event-Driven Architecture • Cloud-Native Application Development Responsibilities: • Build and enhance modern full stack applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and Node.js • Develop scalable frontend experiences and backend services supporting business-critical platforms • Design and implement REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions on AWS • Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver new capabilities and improvements • Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and production support activities • Improve application scalability, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency • Develop automation, monitoring, and deployment solutions supporting production environments • Contribute to code reviews, engineering best practices, and technical mentoring Qualifications: • 4+ years of professional software engineering experience • Strong React and TypeScript frontend development experience • Strong backend development experience using Python and/or Node.js • Experience building and supporting cloud-native applications on AWS • Experience designing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices • Experience working in Agile product development environments Nice to Have: • GraphQL • AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or Claude Code • Kubernetes • Docker • Real-time analytics or dashboard applications • Enterprise SaaS platform experience
