Role Overview: As a Business Development Liaison, you will play a crucial role in expanding the hospital's network by building and maintaining strategic relationships. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and visibility of Akron Children's Hospital within the assigned territory. What You'll Do: - You will establish and nurture relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and key stakeholders. - You will identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic initiatives. - You will represent the hospital at community events, meetings, and conferences to promote services and programs. - You will analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies. - You will coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure alignment of goals and messaging. - You will prepare and deliver presentations to potential partners and referral sources. - You will track and report on outreach activities and outcomes to measure effectiveness. - You will manage travel within the assigned territory to support relationship-building efforts. What You Bring: - You bring at least 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or healthcare liaison roles. - You have strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse audiences effectively. - You possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. - You have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
