Primary Skills: Java (Expert), Python (Expert), JavaScript (Intermediate), AWS (Advanced), Agile (Advanced) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 5 Months Location: Santa Clara,CA Pay Range: $70 - $75 per Hour This role may require travel to business meetings and events and requires reliable transportation to do so. If a hire chooses to drive with customers as their passengers or for other business reasons, hires must be in possession and maintain a valid driver's license. Job Summary: This position involves identifying business and technical needs, designing, and developing scalable cloud-based solutions using microservices architecture. The role demands active participation in all phases of project development, from design and development to testing and documentation. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure integration, conduct tests to confirm program operation, and lead in the adoption of new technologies to enhance our infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop scalable client-server programs in a cloud environment, focusing on microservice implementation. • Collaborate with team members and business requirement partners to enhance the graphical user interface and overall user experience of applications. • Engage in all project phases, from design sessions, code reviews, to drafting technical documentation like G.A.P. analysis and design specifications. • Identify and implement new technologies to improve the existing system infrastructure and participate in the continuous improvement of testing quality and efficiency. • Lead development projects and mentor new team members while adapting to new programming languages and technologies as required. Must-Have Skills: • Advanced experience in Java, Python, and JavaScript development. • Proficient in developing applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS). • Solid understanding and experience in Agile and/or Scrum project methodologies. Industry Experience: Experience in developing software in cloud environments, preferably with exposure to cybersecurity or container technologies, is valuable for this position.
