Primary Skills: AWS(Expert), Terraform(Intermediate), CloudFormation(Intermediate), Python(Advanced), Agile(Advanced) Contract Type: W2 Only Duration: 12+ Months with Possible Extension Location: Remote ( - Remote) Pay Range: $55-$60 per hour on W2 #LP Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned DevOps/Automation Engineer to join the Cloud Platform Engineering team, responsible for enhancing the stability, reliability, and efficiency of technology through innovative automation and infrastructure solutions. This role involves leading the migration and integration of our cloud and third-party systems into our ecosystem, ensuring best practices and fostering a culture of technical excellence. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in AWS cloud environments, infrastructure as code, and possess excellent problem-solving and team collaboration skills. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the migration and integration of our public cloud and third-party systems. • Engage with leadership, infrastructure, and security teams to identify challenges and propose effective solutions. • Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality and architectural guidelines. • Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations. • Foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team. Must-Have Skills: • Extensive experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). • Strong scripting/coding skills (Python, PowerShell, Go, C#, JavaScript). • Proven ability to work in an agile environment using tools such as Jira. Industry Experience: Experience in cloud platform engineering within eCommerce or related industries is preferred.
