Travel: Occasional travel may be required for conferences, research collaborations, or meetings with stakeholders. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Cybersecurity Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure cloud solutions within our Medical Center's infrastructure. This role entails serving as both a technical authority and a strategic advisor, ensuring our cloud deployments meet the highest security and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will bring a vision for securing cloud environments, translating complex business requirements into robust, scalable security architectures. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement secure, resilient cloud architecture aligned with business and regulatory standards. • Develop governance policies and security frameworks for cloud environments. • Ensure consistent application of security controls across cloud deployments. • Integrate security practices into cloud operations, using advanced tools and protocols. • Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies for cloud security. Must-Have Skills: • Proactive threat management and response strategies. • Advanced knowledge in cloud security architecture and IAM protocols. • Strong foundational understanding in network security and data encryption techniques. Industry Experience Required: • Extensive experience in cybersecurity with a focus on cloud environments, preferably in a healthcare context to align with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST.
