Akkodis is seeking a Technical Program & Project Management Specialist for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI(Hybrid). You will drive end-to-end delivery planning and governance for workforce management modernization initiatives while shaping product vision and backlog priorities. Rate Range: $65/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Technical Program & Project Management Specialist job responsibilities include: • Own end-to-end delivery planning for workforce management modernization projects, including risk, issue, and change management. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and governance documentation to ensure seamless integration across WFS, HRIS, and Payroll systems. • Collaborate with product leadership and business owners to translate strategic objectives into actionable requirements and maintain a prioritized product backlog. • Lead Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement, ensuring sprint planning, release management, and stakeholder alignment. • Prepare and present executive-level reports (e.g., Gantt charts, cutover plans) and facilitate governance meetings across multiple levels. • Coordinate vendor management and cross-project dependencies, including third-party integrations, data migration, and system cutovers. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. • Minimum 6 years in IT and 3+ years in program/project management, preferably in workforce management. • Proven expertise in end-to-end project delivery, including risk, issue, and change management, using tools like Jira, MS Teams, and SharePoint. • Strong experience in Agile methodologies and backlog management, with hands-on knowledge of WorkForce Software (WFS) configuration and integration.
