Full Description

Akkodis is seeking a Black Belt Process Improvement Sr. Business Analyst for our client in New York, NY. In this role, you will focus on requirements gathering and process improvement aspects of projects focused on business process, Human Resources, IT or third-party application implementations. These are not ITIL projects. Hourly pay range: $65.00 to $70.00 per our W2 based on experience, education, and other factors. Open to C2C candidates. Although remote, candidates must work East Coast hours, so EST or CST time zone candidates strongly preferred. In this role your responsibilities will include: • Partnering with project managers or change managers on IT, Application, Human Resources, Finance, and business process projects. • Apply a structured methodology and process improvement activities during requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders • Gathering and documenting project requirements • Documenting current state and future state processes and storing them in a central repository. • Finding and documenting any pain points, working with, and documenting data and metrics behind the pain points • Resolving process improvement opportunities to help operation managers identify further opportunities for improvement and working through their resolution. • Liaising with key personnel including senior leaders, Technology Solution Leads, Finance or HR leaders from various parts of the organization to seek buy-in and support for these initiatives. • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and reporting on key responsibilities and objectives • Presenting their findings to all levels of staff including executive leadership • Applying a structured methodology for process improvement activities as required Required skills and experience: • Black Belt or Master Black Belt certified preferred; Green Belt will be considered if not a Black Belt. • Black Belt with 5+ years of information technology project business process improvement experience, self-sufficient in creating necessary documentation and artifacts for projects OR Green Belt with 15+ years of experience driving successful business transformation process initiatives • Experience working within a PMO. • Experience working on C-Suite level sponsored projects • Experience gathering requirements and implementing HR, Finance, and Workflow systems. • Excellent, clear, concise communication skills with the ability to manage an audience in meetings. • Strong process mapping documentation skills • Experience working with large-scale efforts within IT, third-party application implementations, human resources, finance, and business process projects. • Ability to identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics. • Problem solving and root cause analysis and identification skills. • Knowledge and experience with other methodologies and frameworks, such as agile or waterfall implementations • Experience working within project management office organization with cross functional teams.
