The Opportunity Are you ready to revolutionize how media agencies work with AI? As Senior Product Manager at Akkio, you'll be at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology and media agency transformation, working directly with industry leaders to reshape how agencies operate in the AI era. You'll split your time between collaborating with our world-class engineering and design teams and working directly with customers to deeply understand their workflows. This isn't just about building features – you'll build on our vision for how AI can transform agency operations and bring it to life – from concept to market adoption. You'll lead brainstorming sessions with senior agency leaders, demo new capabilities, and guide our product development with both strategic insight and hands-on execution. What You'll Do Discover and define: Deeply understand common workflows and jobs-to-be-done within media agencies, identifying opportunities where AI can create transformational value Translate vision into reality: Convert customer insights into clear product requirements for our engineering and design teams Lead product development: Set direction and guide cross-functional teams through the product creation process, course-correcting as solutions come to life Engage with customers: Present and demo solutions to senior agency leaders, gathering feedback and building relationships that inform product strategy Make decisive calls: Use your product instinct to recognize strong versus weak product directions quickly and set the right course forward Build credibility: Earn the trust of both world-class engineers internally and C-level stakeholders externally through your technical depth and leadership presence Who You Are Technical foundation: CS, Engineering, or Design background or degree Proven product leadership: Track record of shipping impressive software products, with roles of increasing responsibility Domain expertise: Experience in AI startups or AdTech product companies (knowledge of either AI technology or media agency operations strongly preferred) Engineering credibility: You know how to lead teams of software engineers and designers in building great products Strong product instinct: You immediately recognize good versus bad product decisions, think fast on your feet, and set direction rather than just relay information Executive presence: You command the room with senior leaders, keeping pace with (and ideally leading) strategic conversations and demos Travel flexibility: Willing to spend significant time in NYC working directly with customers Why You'll Love Working Here Join Akkio and help transform how media companies leverage AI in marketing and advertising. Additional Information Location: Akkio is a fully remote company, but you must be willing to spend significant customer-facing time in New York City.
