Strategic Sales Opportunity | Advanced Maritime & Subsea Technology | North America I’m partnering with a globally recognised ocean technology group that engineers high-precision navigation, subsea positioning, imagery, and maritime autonomy systems used in offshore energy, naval, and complex subsea operations. With strong global backing and growing demand across North America, they are expanding their commercial team and investing in a high-impact Sales & Business Development Manager to drive regional growth. This is not a transactional sales role, it’s a consultative, technically credible position selling mission-critical hardware solutions into sophisticated maritime environments. You will take ownership of revenue growth across North America within the surface & subsea positioning division, combining strategic account development with proactive new business generation. Key Responsibilities: • Own and exceed regional sales and profitability targets • Develop new business across offshore, naval, survey and subsea markets • Manage full sales lifecycle, from prospecting to negotiation and closure • Sell complex hardware solutions (navigation, positioning, subsea systems) • Lead customer presentations, proposals and pricing discussions • Partner closely with engineering, project management and operations teams • Conduct market analysis and identify emerging opportunities • Represent the business at trade shows, conferences and customer demos • Collaborate with international HQ teams (US & Europe) • Travel up to 50% across North America What They’re Looking For • 2–5+ years commercial experience within the maritime or subsea sector • Exposure to navigation, positioning, subsea imagery, or related hardware systems • Strong technical credibility, ideally engineering + commercial background • Experience selling into offshore energy, defence/naval, survey or robotics markets • Comfortable operating in a scale-up style US division with international collaboration • Strong hunter mentality, with accountability for revenue targets Why This Role Stands Out • High-growth division within a globally established technology group • Exposure to cutting-edge maritime autonomy and positioning systems • Direct visibility to leadership and strategic influence • North America market ownership • International collaboration with Denver and European HQ If you are interested, please apply directly here or reach out to sam@akkar.com
