Station Trainer Jamaica, NY Are you looking to make a career change to an exciting company? Responsibilities: • Deliver comprehensive training through multiple modalities, including instructor-led and virtual instructor-led sessions, e-learning, self-directed learning, on-the-job training (OJT), and supporting training materials • Facilitate and oversee Cargo Classroom instruction and OJT, including final assessments and required sign-offs • Ensure all training and equipment operations comply with Swissport Corporate and NOAM Training Policies, Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Actively promote and reinforce best practices across station operations • Conduct internal quality assurance activities, including operational audits, to support compliance and continuous improvement • Continuously evaluate training effectiveness to ensure staff competency, confidence, and role-specific proficiency • Maintain training and operational compliance standards across the station • Collaborate regularly with subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training content remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with operational needs • Serve as a role model by consistently demonstrating best-practice behaviors and procedures • Provide objective feedback, coaching, and performance guidance to improve individual and team effectiveness • Accurately document and report all training activities using approved systems to ensure reliable tracking and data integrity • Support nearby stations with training and operational needs as required • Forecast and plan initial and recurrent training requirements in coordination with Regional Training Managers, local HR, and Operations teams • Deliver and facilitate initial and recurrent training programs in accordance with global and local standards • Administer required examinations, evaluations, and training documentation to maintain regulatory and corporate compliance • Support new hire onboarding and training tracking to ensure a smooth transition into operational roles • Assist with on-the-job coaching programs for assigned functions and serve as tier-one support for locally certified coaches • Maintain operational currency and familiarity with station procedures and equipment Qualifications: • Minimum of one (1) year of industry experience in airline cargo operations • High School Diploma or equivalent experience demonstrating problem-solving ability, stakeholder collaboration, and effective prioritization • Ability to travel up to 10%, including travel within the United States and Canada • Ability to pass required security clearances and possess a valid driver’s license • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority • Working knowledge of computer systems, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite strongly preferred • Customer service–oriented mindset with a commitment to operational excellence • Flexibility to work various shifts, including off-peak hours, to support training requirements • Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training evaluation methodologies preferred • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving operational environment • Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations, slide decks, and training materials Salary: $27-$32/ hour Benefits: • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • 401K • Paid Time Off • Direct Hire Ask for: Deb #Talroo #iHire #ih Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
