Job Title: Senior IAM Engineer – Fine-Grain Authorization Location: Remote Job Summary: We are seeking a Senior IAM Engineer with deep experience in fine-grained, policy-based authorization. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and managing modern authorization models and platforms, integrating identity governance, and enabling real-time access decisions across applications, APIs, and microservices. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement fine-grained authorization and policy-based access controls Develop and maintain authorization models, frameworks, and architectures Integrate identity governance solutions for identity attributes, roles, and entitlements Ensure real-time authorization decisioning across APIs and microservices Collaborate with security and application teams to enforce authorization policies Contribute to IAM architecture and strategy for scalable access management Required Skills & Experience: Identity Governance & Access Management (IAM) Fine-Grained Authorization, Policy-Based Authorization, Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) Authorization models, platforms, and architecture Runtime authorization and API authorization Microservices and platform security Identity attributes, entitlements, and policy modeling Preferred Experience: Exposure to tools or frameworks inspired by Google Zanzibar, OpenFGA, Okta FGA, or PlainID Hands-on experience with SailPoint or other identity governance platforms Experience designing scalable authorization for complex systems Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience) IAM or security certifications a plus (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SailPoint Certified)
