Bachelor's degree (preferably in education or English), experience teaching early elementary reading or ESL, strong communication skills, U.S. work authorization.
Join a program focused on improving elementary literacy by delivering structured online reading instruction to young learners. • Responsibilities: • Deliver online reading lessons via Zoom to small groups (up to 4 students) in 30- or 40-minute sessions. • Be available during school and after-school hours (most classes scheduled in the early morning through late afternoon, Monday–Friday). • Follow provided curriculum and lesson directions. • Provide regular progress feedback on students and maintain a supportive learning environment. • Compensation: $24.00 per hour (equivalent to $12 for a 30-minute class or $16 for a 40-minute class). • Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree or higher; degrees in education, English, or related fields preferred. • Experience teaching reading, phonics, or ESL to early elementary grades (K–3 preferred). • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; bilingual Spanish speakers are a plus. • Comfortable using Zoom and other educational technologies. • U.S. work authorization required. • Structured online reading classes are offered for Pre-K through 6th grade.
