The Role We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and scale our core engineering team. You will take charge of a talented group of 15+ engineers, acting as a pivotal leader responsible for their growth, delivery, and overall success. This is more than a management role; you are a strategic partner who will shape our engineering processes, make critical infrastructure decisions, and drive the team to a new level of velocity and excellence. Crucially, you will be our champion for infusing AI into our engineering culture, transforming how we build, test, and deploy software. If you are passionate about building elite teams and leveraging cutting-edge technology to create a competitive advantage, this role is for you. 🚀 Responsibilities People Management & Leadership Lead and Mentor: Manage a team of 15 software engineers, providing regular coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback through 1:1s and performance reviews. Career Development: Support the career growth of your team members by identifying opportunities for learning, skill development, and advancement. Recruitment & Hiring: Actively participate in the hiring process to attract, recruit, and onboard top engineering talent that aligns with our company culture and technical needs. Technical & Architectural Guidance: Technical Oversight: While not expected to be the primary coder, you will provide technical leadership and guidance on software architecture, design patterns, and best practices. Code Quality: Uphold high standards for code quality, test coverage, and system performance through code reviews and the implementation of engineering best practices. Roadmap Contribution: Partner with senior engineers on your team to influence technology decisions and contribute to the long-term technical roadmap. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8+ years of experience Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and modern development practices. Experience scaling teams and systems in a high-growth environment.
