Job Summary and Responsibilities This position is remote • Although the role is remote, it requires up to 25% to 50% travel in the market. The Market IT Manager assists the Region IT Director (PE) in the top management of CommonSpirit Health's information technology resources and supporting the physician enterprise and oversees the integration of multiple mission-critical organization information technology processes and strategies as assigned by the Region CIO in partnership with the System SVP for PE assigned to the region.Coverage spans all healthcare locations within a market or multiple markets within a Region, supporting different executive leadership and medical group physician teams. Responsibility crosses various functional units within the organization as it pertains to physician enterprise. Provides IT oversight and PE leadership representation for the organization at a variety of meetings, public events, on committees, and/or other related events regarding services, programs, projects and clinics at the discretion of the Region IT Director.The Market IT Manager applies management principles with critical impact on technology and the organization, and typically has responsibility for technology strategic outcomes across multiple integrated processes and/or strategies as assigned. Incumbents exercise strategic thinking having organization-wide application and impact; develop and implement programs critical to CommonSpirit Health; and exercise control and supervision of multiple assigned integrated processes and projects/programs and significant resources. The Market IT Manager supervises staff including conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, discipline and termination procedures.Incumbents oversee day-to-day operational management of all activities and functions in the respective assigned function(s)/unit(s)/program(s). Oversight includes evaluation, development, implementation, and enforcement of policies, procedures and standards; determining service levels and enhancements; developing, monitoring, and managing budgets; providing strategic and technical advice and/or oversight to staff and/or vendor partners, or other departments related to area of assignment; evaluating information concerning needs; estimating and coordinating integrated processes activities and associated costs.The Market IT Manager is responsible for the support and alignment of established intake processes, planning and governance, and standards within the supported area, as well as any other processes and standards in development or to be developed. • Engaged/Involved in strategic planning initiatives within a market or multiple markets regarding PE. • Manage PE growth strategy as it relates to the market or multiple markets in support of Region IT Director (PE) and Region CIO. • Communicates clearly and consistently; managing expectations of the region as it relates to IT changes and changes specific to the physician enterprise. • Provides back up coverage for Region IT Director (PE). • Manages the activities of multiple assigned CommonSpirit Health integrated processes or designated strategies involving multiple programs, projects and functions, which includes planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, systems, standards, and/or service offerings that affect assigned markets. • Supervises staff, matrix staff, and vendor partner staff including prioritizing and assigning work. Job Requirements Required Education and Experience • Bachelors, Masters preferred (equivalent applicable experience may be considered) • Leadership experience in managing cross functional teams and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders • Experience in departmental budgeting, personnel management and project management • Experience managing operational and capital budgets and resource allocations • 7 years of relevant technical and business experience is preferred • 5 years Information Technology Leadership experience is preferred Where You’ll Work Inspired by faith.
