Python and Kubernetes Engineer Canonical is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Python and Kubernetes to drive the development of open source software operations code. Key Responsibilities • Design and deliver open source software operations code using Python. • Work across the entire Linux stack, ensuring application and infrastructure reliability. • Develop high-quality open source monitoring and alerting infrastructure. • Participate in agile software development practices and coach colleagues. • Engage with teams to ensure products operate efficiently and scale for production workloads. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, STEM, or similar field. • Experience with Linux systems administration and operations. • Hands-on experience with public cloud services. • Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes. • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.
