The Director, Service Parts Fulfillment is part of Agilent Technologies’ Global Logistics Leadership Team, reporting to the VP of Global Logistics. This is a significant leadership opportunity for a dynamic, highly motivated leader with demonstrated experience who can lead, inspire, and drive digital transformation with a diverse team globally with a world-class, sustainable operation moving product around the world and fulfilling customer needs. This individual will be expected to lead critical, on-going logistics initiatives supporting Agilent’s digitalization and growth strategy. • Lead the Global Service Parts Fulfillment team to meet the high standards of customers’ expectation, operational metrics and financial goals • Owner for the strategy and execution for logistics operations locally around the world, moving product from warehouse to customers • Formulate and Implement service parts distribution strategies to support business growth while improving supply chain service, resilience and reliability • Implement strategy in alignment with shifts in divisional sourcing and customer mix • Develop and implement best practices to drive efficiency, reduce cost, and improve service • Strong ability to adeptly manage complexity in a rapidly changing operating environment with agility • Work cross-functionally to monitor and adjust capacity as needed • Manage logistics service providers (LSP) and ensure ongoing carrier and warehouse compliance to committed KPIs, operating standards and service level agreements • Collaborate with EMEA-I, Americas and AsiaPac Logistics operations to implement seamless, best in class supply chain processes including cross-border logistics and warehouse operations • Support and implement digital transformation across the supply chain logistics organization by identifying, assessing and implementing innovative, best-in-class technologies • Collaborate with regional business partners to implement appropriate strategies to achieve delivery, quality and cost KPIs including Turn-Around-Time (TAT) performance, Defect on Arrival goals (DEFOA), Inventory accuracy, logistics cost as % over revenue improvement This role may offer the option to work remotely. However, preference will be given to candidates located near one of our company sites (Santa Clara, CA; Cedar Creek, TX; or Wilmington, DE), as proximity may provide additional opportunities for on‑site engagement. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain / Logistics or Life Sciences discipline. Advanced degree highly desirable • 7+ years in senior Operations leadership of increasing responsibility with experience in supply chain, logistics, distribution and warehousing in a multi-national company • 5+ years' experience formally or informally leading people, projects and/or programs • Strong analytically with an acute business acumen • Strong knowledge of supply chain technology • Experience in digital technologies such as automated manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence / machine learning, etc. is preferred • Experience driving significant process improvement efforts utilizing Lean and Six Sigma concepts and methodologies • Familiar with service parts distribution and familiar with the markets Agilent serves Agilent products and customers’ business needs is desirable • Experience with managing Supply Chain in a regulated Medical Device environment is an advantage • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing multicultural, diverse team • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive business decisions • Ability to travel domestically and internationally Personal Characteristics: • Exhibits change agent behaviors that bring global intensity to drive and institutionalize the future of supply chain within Agilent Global Operations • Passionate, inspirational, visionary thinker with a desire to excel and inspire others at all levels • Superb communication and interpersonal skills • Excellent influencing and facilitation skills • Thrives in a cross functional collaboration environment • Persistent in the face of resistance • Demonstrated solid business acumen • Pragmatic and customer focused • Ability to identify and focus on key priorities • Self-starter, self-reliant, courage of conviction Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $135,840.00 - $254,700.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
