Position Summary We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Regional Medicare Sales Manager to lead Medicare growth efforts within an assigned region. In this role, you will act as the general manager of your market—building and executing a growth strategy, identifying competitive opportunities, recruiting high-performing agents and agencies, and driving production across multiple carriers. Beyond broker support, you will also play a critical role in gathering and analyzing competition, carrier, and market intelligence to guide strategic planning and support content creation efforts. Backed by Agility’s national platform, proprietary tools, and diverse portfolio of Medicare products, you’ll have everything needed to maximize your region’s success. Role Responsibilities Develop and execute a regional Medicare growth strategy that drives agent recruitment, activation, and production. Identify market-specific opportunities, competitive positioning, and local trends to fuel broker engagement and enrollment growth. Gather, analyze, and share competitive, carrier, and market intelligence to inform strategy and contribute to marketing and content development. Recruit, contract, and onboard independent agents and agencies with strong Medicare potential. Deliver Medicare-focused onboarding, sales training, and CMS compliance education. Serve as the lead relationship manager for your regional broker base, providing consistent support and business development. Track, analyze, and report broker performance data to refine strategies and achieve regional goals. Lead regional webinars, in-person training events, and field engagement activities. Partner with national sales leadership, marketing, and carrier representatives to align on growth objectives. Stay current on CMS regulations, carrier updates, and market dynamics to ensure agents remain competitive and compliant. Requirements Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Active Life & Health license with Medicare certification. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to create growth opportunities in emerging markets. Tech-savvy with experience using CRMs, virtual training platforms, and quoting tools Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and grow agent performance. Minimum Required Qualification 3+ years of experience in Medicare sales, broker distribution, or FMO/IMO leadership. Proven success in building and executing regional or local sales strategies. Strong track record in agent recruiting, onboarding, and performance management. Active Health insurance license (Life & Health acceptable, but Health required). Deep knowledge of Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D products. Highly organized, self-directed, and accountable. Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.
