We're looking for a HV Electrician 1 in Bakersfield, CA- a role that will help us to power progress for our customers. Why Aggreko? What you'll do: • You'll be based out of our Bakersfield, CA service center. • Respond to major component failure escalations. • Carry out major component changes and field repairs. • Carry out advanced troubleshooting of electrical LV or HV systems. • Ensure the completion of major repairs are on time. • Travel position requiring 65% or more away from home traveling. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally and have a current passport. • Ability to acquire and maintain a TWIC card. • HASC or chemical plants certification a plus. You’ll have the following skills and experience: • High school diploma/GED or equivalent. • 5 years of high and/or medium voltage experience. • Experience with refineries/government site protocols and requirement to enter and perform work. • Experience with HV test equipment. • Ability to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.
